Mama would love her legacy to continue in the form of a Midwifery School, and professionalization of the local midwives' contribution in hopes of being recognized fully and fairly compensated for the care they provide women in Nicaragua. Currently we are sponsoring an apprentice training for local women seeking to become midwives.  This is a step in the right direction, but to realize her dream, we need your help.  Please contact us if you are interested.
